That’s right you read that headline correctly according to a new study done by a few researchers at the University of California-San Francisco. Based on the infertility information that they gathered from 408 couples that made various infertility treatment attempts with varying degrees of success. The significant statistic that is being pointed out by most of the news media sources that I have seen this information is the stat that when infertile couples attempted the same fertility procedure multiple times that the odds of success decrease greatly with each attempt.

Now don’t get all down on that news as there did seem to be a silver lining to this recent infertility study. On the positive side of things the couples that had their fertility treatment procedures changed up after only two attempts saw a significant increase in their success rates

Now that is good news but apparently as the way it is done normally when it comes to studies like these the news sources are posting their headlines pushing out the negative perspective. To be honest with you those of us that fight infertility really don’t need any help feeling the negative side of infertility as there is already plenty of that going around!

It would have been nice if I could have found the same article with a positive headline, I’m just saying….. I know I have gone on off the track on this post right about now. Time to step off my soap box about the negativity of today’s journalist. I use that term journalist very loosely by the way.
