Hello again all you infertility fighters out there the last time I wrote for this blog I venting a bit of sarcasm about a post that I read that was stating the obvious just to get some web traffic. In case you did not know, stress contributes to infertility issues…. I know what you are thinking what an amazing discovery right? Anyway that is all I have to say about that so let’s move onto something a little more important than stating the obvious.
The Family Act of 2011, S 965, is an important piece of legislation that has been introduced as a new bill in the US Senate and the good folks over at Resolve are trying to get the word out about it. The bill was introduced by Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (NY) and it looks to have a broad enough appeal to those in the infertility community to get behind it so they are asking that people contact their Senate representatives to get them to stand up and co-sponsor the bill and get it through the legal process.
With that I will keep this post short and sweet to see the actual bill as it was presented the you will need to click here to read the Family Act Of 2011. Also if you are not sure if this is something you want to get behind and you need a little more convincing as to why the bill should be supported the check out some of the information being provided by the good folks at Resolve on their Federal Laws page. With that I will sign off for now remember to keep fighting!
