Octo Mom’s Infertility Doc Looses License For Five Years

What’s up infertility fighters, yesterday I wrote a really quick post about the Family Act of 2011 and why you should be writing to your government representatives for your state to help this bill become a law. Well now today I wanted to shine the light a bit on the California’s medical boards decision to revoke the license of Dr. Michael Kamrava. Just in case you are wondering why this doc in particular it’s because he is the not so brilliant guy who thought it was a good idea to implant 14 embryos into who we know as the Octo Mom or Nadya Suleman.

The decision to revoke this guys license was the right decision and I really don’t understand how any one could even argue with it. I mean that was just a reckless decision that put those kids and mom in terrible danger. Something that was apparently not considered in this case, it is really frustrating to hear about cases like these. I totally understand the desire to have your own children and the willingness to do anything you can to have them. However putting yourself and that many embryos in a life or death scenario is just not something that was intended. I mean the guy is a doctor is he not? The priority of which should be the health safety of your patients, I mean that is like doctor class 101 stuff you know!

Anyway enough of me ranting about that ridiculous mess and let’s get to some positive information about embryo transfer safety and how many is enough. I came upon this video clip about this very topic over at the Youtube page for Attain Fertility check it out.

I hope you all got some good info there about how many embryo implants you should do and understand that your health and safety should be your top priority. Also I would highly recommend that you watch some of the other fertility videosthat Attain Fertility have on their page they put up a lot of good stuff that can answer some questions about IVF for you. Which comes in handy for those of you that are like me and you would prefer to watch and listen to someone tell you how it is as opposed to reading about it.

Don’t Let If Win ;-)
