What’s up fertility fighters? Admittedly it has been quite a while since I last wrote for this infertility blog. I mean the last time I posted here was the news about the infertility doc of the Octo Mom loosing his license. I had a bit of a burn out writers block spell but hopefully I am over that and I can get back to spreading the word about the latest updates on the infertility front. So with out any further delay lets get back to business.

I saw a pretty good read this morning about some researchers conducted some trial testing of 309 women in China. What they concluded from this trial was that those women that were treated with some electro-acupuncture treatments soon after the embryo was placed. The electro-acupuncture pads were placed in place of traditional needles but in the same places.

The results of the study were good enough to warrant a call for even more testing because those women that recieved at least two treatments had a higher successful birth rate. This once again proves to me how much I love the internet and how instantly we can learn about the latest and greatest advances to fight infertility. Now granted these things are being done all the way over in China but the mere fact that the news is out there is enough to get the ball rolling in other corners of the world and your local medical community.
