Today I felt that putting together a list of the more common risk factors that cause infertility. In my continuing efforts to supply the most infertility support information that I can find. Now I will grant you that those of us that have been dealing with infertility for a while that this will be a throw away post for you but if your a newbie to fighting infertility then pull up a chair grab a cup of coffee or whatever your favorite beverage is sit a spell as we go through some of those fertility risk factors.
Where do I go to find infertility support? Does that sound like a familiar question to you? If it does believe me when I tell you that you are not alone. It seems like for those of us that are on this long journey of fighting infertility that there are more days of questions than there are answers. When you go to fertility specialist after fertility specialist all of the telling you the same thing with a little tweak in procedure here or there. More paps, more runs to the morning blood test, more ultra sounds and still no answers and just more questions it’s hard to decide who to turn to in finding help for infertility.
As long as my family has been battling infertility it still always gives me a little bit of hope when I am feeling down to hear about a success story from our circle of infertility support. However I do seem to be having a conflict when it comes to certain types of success stories, especially those ones that get a lot of media attention. Not because it was some type of break through procedure but because it was a procedure that was done one someone that is normally considered way beyond the child bearing years.
For example I am sure most everyone watching the news in the last few days have seen this story plastered all over the news and the internet.
